Submission Guidelines
Coverage of Reports
The subject of the manuscript should be related to knowledge, discussing issues related to knowledge management, knowledge services, knowledge innovation, etc. Manuscripts can focus on theory as well as application, technology, methods, models, best practices, etc.
Academic Ethics Requirements
Submissions must be original research papers that have not been published before, with innovative topics and content. When citing others' work, please be sure to indicate the original author's name, work title, and source according to the Copyright Law, and list them in the references at the end of the document.
This journal uses the CNKI Technology Journal Academic Misconduct Literature Detection System (AMLC) to check for similarity in submitted papers. If academic misconduct is found in a manuscript, it will not be accepted; if academic misconduct is discovered after publication, the paper will be retracted, and the authors suspected of academic misconduct will be blacklisted by our journal.
Authorship and Copyright Issues
The author should be the creator, practitioner, or writer of the paper, i.e., the person responsible for and the owner of the copyright. The number and order of listed authors are determined by the authors themselves, who are responsible for the content of their work. All authors must give final approval of the version to be submitted.
The paper should list all authors' names. Those who have contributed to the research work but do not meet the authorship criteria should be acknowledged in the acknowledgments section.
The paper's publication in our journal is based on the "Copyright Transfer Agreement" signed by the authors and received by the editorial department.
Our journal adopts the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license, which allows everyone to download, reuse, copy, adapt and disseminate the published articles. When citing, please indicate the author and the source of the article.
Writing Standards
Our journal strictly follows national standards and norms. Please write your submission according to the current national standards and norms; use the International System of Units and the corresponding standard symbols.
Review Process
A rigorous three-step review process is implemented: initial review, peer review (double-blind peer review), and final review. The specific manuscript review process is as follows:
Manuscript review process before acceptance:
1. Author's submission: The submission website is www.kmf.ac.cn.
2. Manuscript receipt and initial screening - Handled by the editorial department, within 2 working days.
3. Initial review (rejection possible/contact the author to supplement data, etc.) - Reviewed by an intermediate editor of the editorial department, within 3 working days.
4. External review - Peer review by 1 to 3 external reviewers, 10 working days for each reviewer.
5. Re-review (can be repeated multiple times, can be sent for external review again, rejection possible/contact the author to supplement data, etc.) - Reviewed by a senior editor of the editorial department, within 5 working days.
6. Final review by the chief editor (can be repeated multiple times, can be sent for external review again, acceptance or rejection possible) - Reviewed by the chief editor of the journal, within 5 working days.
7. Revision request - Returned to the author for revision, within 7 working days, which can be appropriately extended according to the amount of revision.
8. Rejection - Handled by the editorial department (reasons for rejection are provided).
9. Confirmation of acceptance - The author confirms publication and uploads the signed agreement, within 3 working days.
Manuscript processing process after acceptance:
1. Editing - Processed online by an editor hired externally by the editorial department, within 5 working days.
2. Thorough reading - Processed online by an editor at or above the intermediate level of the editorial department, within 5 working days.
3. English language processing - Processed online by an English editor hired externally by the editorial department, within 5 working days.
4. Author proofreading - The author proofreads the processed manuscript, within 3 working days.
5. Review by the responsible editor - The responsible editor of the current issue reviews the manuscript, within 7 working days.
6. Manuscript release - After organizing the final manuscript, the responsible editor of the current issue releases the manuscript.
7. Online publication.
Channels and Forms of Publication
Manuscripts are primarily published online, such as on our journal's website (www.kmf.ac.cn) and databases authorized by our journal.
Paper Processing Fee
Starting from January 1, 2024, a paper processing fee of 2000 yuan per paper will be charged, with an additional 1000 yuan for each project, not exceeding three projects in total.
About Open Access
All research papers published in our journal must be open access immediately after publication through our journal's website (www.kmf.ac.cn), encouraging self-archiving. The basic license is CC-BY (Attribution). For details, see the OA statement on the journal's homepage.

About Dataset Publishing
To facilitate the management, sharing, storage, and reuse of academic paper data, our journal has recently launched a data publishing service through the ScienceDB platform (www.sciencedb.cn) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences Network Center. This platform supports the submission of datasets in any format. Authors are welcome to submit datasets related to their papers at the same time as their submission (entering the dataset submission process as the 5th step of manuscript submission, please prepare metadata such as dataset title, authors, abstract, keywords in advance).
