● December 2007: The trial issue of Online Journal of Library and Information Service was released.
● 2010: Obtained the Internet publishing license, applied for and was approved for the ISSN number.
● 2011: Printing on - demand, optimizing the process.
● 2013: Renamed as Knowledge Management Forum, published by article, open access implemented, formulated the Editorial and Publishing Guidelines, applied for the CN number of the online journal.
● 2014: Peer review, applied for the CN number twice.
● 2015: Selected as one of the first - batch pilot periodicals for standardized management of online serial publications by the General Administration of Press and Publication, approved for the CN number; the editorial board was established and held its first meeting.
● 2016: Revamped, new website and editorial - collection system launched.
● 2017: Included in DOAJ, an internationally well - known open access platform.
● 2018: The first meeting of the second editorial board was held.
● 2019: Reached a cooperation intention with the School of Information Management, Central China Normal University.
● 2020: Selected as a statistical source journal in Annual Report on the Impact Factor of Chinese Academic Journals of CNKI.
