Call for Papers

Knowledge Management Forumis a purely online, open-access academic journal (ISSN 2095-5472, CN11-6036/C) supervised by the Chinese Academy of Sciences and sponsored by the National Science Library, Chinese Academy of Sciences. It aims to promote the creation, organization, and effective utilization of knowledge in the knowledge era, and to facilitate the rapid, extensive, and effective dissemination of research achievements in knowledge management.
Our journal focuses on all research findings and practical cases related to knowledge, including: Internet and knowledge management, big data and knowledge computing, data stewardship and knowledge organization, practice communities and knowledge operations, content management and knowledge sharing, data linking and knowledge graphs, open innovation and knowledge creation, data mining and knowledge discovery.
We are currently calling for papers from the academic and business communities, both domestically and internationally:
1. The theme of the manuscript should be related to knowledge, discussing issues related to knowledge management, knowledge services, knowledge innovation, etc. Articles may focus on theory, as well as applications, technologies, methods, models, best practices, etc.
2. Articles must be substantive, combining theory with practice, with clear research objectives, appropriate research methods, original academic insights, and provide references, inspiration, or guidance for theory or practice.
3. All submissions must undergo similarity checks (using the CNKI Science and Technology Journal Academic Misconduct Literature Detection System (AMLC)), be submitted to double-blind peer review by experts, and pass the initial review, re-review, and final review by the editorial department. If a manuscript is found to have engaged in academic misconduct, it will not be accepted; if a paper is discovered to have engaged in academic misconduct after publication, it will be retracted, and authors of manuscripts suspected of academic misconduct will be blacklisted by our journal.
4. Manuscripts are primarily published online, such as on our journal's website (www.kmf.ac.cn) and databases authorized by our journal.
5. The journal operates on a per-article publishing basis, with manuscripts immediately entering the rapid publication process upon acceptance, ensuring that research findings are released in a timely manner.
6. From January 1, 2024, an article processing charge of 2000 RMB per article will be collected upon acceptance, with an additional 1000 RMB for each project, with a maximum of three projects.
