Abstract
[Purpose/significance] With the continuous improvement of bibliographic description models such as BIBFRAME, bibliographic data are facing the transition from MARC to the semantic bibliography. This paper explores the construction model of semantic union catalogs. [Method/process] The author analyzed the construction model of tranditional union catalogs firstly, and considered that its pattern had reference significance for semantic union catalogs but should not be simply copied. Then, the authors analyzed the bibliographic description method of BIBFRAME 2.0, and proposed three construction models of semantic union catalogs: the centralized semantic union catalogs, the distributed semantic union catalogs and the combination of these two methods. Finally, the authors built an experimental platform based on Jena Fuseki and Apache HTTP server, and tested the interoperated method of semantic union catalogs. [Result/conclusion] The experimental results show that the three methods proposed in this paper are feasible in practice, and can provide useful references for the semantic bibliographic data interoperability and the cross-database retrieval system of the library and information department.
