The expansion of postgraduate enrollment has led to a significant increase in the number of postgraduate students in universities. Postgraduate students have become the main group and an important scientific research force in many research-oriented universities. Under the new situation, how university libraries can provide targeted services according to the actual needs of postgraduate cultivation is an important topic worthy of discussion. Based on the analysis of the needs of postgraduate students, this paper explores the service modes of university libraries for postgraduate students, including providing segmented services, expanding information literacy education, creating dedicated spaces for postgraduate students, establishing a specialized department for postgraduate affairs, and establishing extensive partnerships with relevant academic and non-academic units both on and off campus, so as to meet the learning and research needs of postgraduate students in different disciplines, at different levels and of different types.
