Research on the Influencing Factors of Organized Scientific Research Cooperation Among Institutions in the Field of Philosophy and Social Sciences from the Perspective of Multidimensional Proximity

摘要

【目的/意义】 通过多维邻近性视角,探究地理、技术、制度、文化、组织及网络邻近性对哲学社会科学领域跨机构有组织科研合作产出的影响机制,对优化有组织科研合作模式,提升跨机构有组织科研合作的整体效能与影响力具有重要意义。 【方法/过程】 本研究以2002—2023年“教育部人文社会科学重点研究基地重大项目”中涉及跨机构合作的1 443篇期刊论文作为样本数据,依次进行Spearman秩相关分析和OLS回归分析,并开展二元logistics回归进行稳健性检验。 【结果/结论】 ①地理、制度和网络邻近性,均显著正向影响跨机构科研合作产出数量;其中,地理邻近性与文化邻近性、网络邻近性与文化邻近性的交互作用均显著正向影响跨机构合作产出数量;而技术邻近性与网络邻近性、组织邻近性与网络邻近性、组织邻近性与文化邻近性的交互作用则显著负向影响跨机构合作产出数量。②地理邻近性、制度邻近性均显著负向影响跨机构科研合作产出质量;地理与技术邻近性、制度与网络邻近性的交互作用均显著负向影响合作产出质量。③地理邻近性显著负向影响跨机构合作产出影响力,网络邻近性显著正向影响跨机构合作产出影响力,各交互作用对合作产出影响力无显著影响。基于以上研究结果,提出若干建议,以期为相关领域的发展提供参考。

Abstract

[Purpose/Significance] From multidimensional proximity perspective, investigating the mechanisms through which geographical, technological, institutional, cultural, organizational, and network proximity influence the output of organized cross-institutional research collaborations in the humanities and social sciences holds significant importance for optimizing models of organized research collaboration and enhancing the overall effectiveness and impact of such cross-institutional initiatives. [Method/Process] Using 1 443 journal papers involving cross-institutional cooperation from the Major Projects of Key Research Bases of Humanities and Social Sciences of the Ministry of Education between 2002 and 2023 as sample data, Spearman rank correlation analysis and OLS regression analysis were conducted successively, and binary logistics regression was carried out for the robustness test. [Result/Conclusion] ①Geographical, institutional, and network proximities all have significant positive effects on the quantity of cross-institutional research collaboration output. Among these, the interaction between geographical and cultural proximity and the interaction between network and cultural proximity both significantly positively affect the quantity of cross-institutional collaboration output. In contrast, the interactions between technological and network proximity, organizational and network proximity, and organizational and cultural proximity all significantly negatively affect the quantity of cross-institutional collaboration output. ②Geographical and institutional proximities both significantly negatively affect the quality of cross-institutional research collaboration output. The interactions between geographical and technological proximity and between institutional and network proximity both significantly negatively affect the quality of collaboration output. ③Geographical proximity significantly negatively affects the influence of cross-institutional collaboration output, while network proximity significantly positively affects it. None of the interaction terms show significant effects on the influence of collaboration output. Based on the above research results, several suggestions are put forward in order to provide references for the development of relevant fields.
